Los Campesinos!- The Sea is a Good Place to Think of the Future

I really like this song, I think the video’s start really doesn’t do the thematic heaviness (which is really surprising come from Campesinos!, but in a good way) justice. It’s not until you get to see wading in the water at night, and laughter by a bonfire that I think the video actually starts to do the song justice. But that said, this is a great song, and a late contender to make a splash on my year end singles list

Now, I’ve had the good fortune to meet/talk to/hang with/interview a lot of my favorite bands. But I don’t think anyone can hold a light to the Wrens in terms of how goddamn funny they are. This Wrens most recent post is probably the funniest thing I’ve read in a while.
